The central piece of this artwork is the diachronic scarab, which seems almost lifelike. The scarab has a strong solar aspect: it has been identified with the sun's path. The dung ball then becomes the sun, which he forms, transports and buries, which is equated with the sunset. This sun is symbolized on the neck of the bong with a crystal, above the scarab that acts as chillum, the sun is produced by your fire.
