We love this beautiful, fully fumed dual-uptake Archcycler we got hold of from Ease Glass!
Tim Carruthers aka "Ease" is originally from Ithica, New York but has spent the last 15 years in Seattle, Washington blowing glass with the best of the best. Ease pioneered many techniques of borosilicate glass pipes, including Graal sandblasting, "tribal" wigwags, dichro work, and general form and design. Last, but not least, he is known for his stunning fumed work.
Fumed glass is special because small amounts of silver or gold are used in the glassblowing process. The metals are vaporized in the flame, which then covers the glass with a layer of vaporized molecules. This layer is covered again with another layer of clear glass for protection.
The smoked glass from Ease contains a variety of designs. Depending on the incidence of light can change the colors of the rig seem to change!
Many of the fume techniques that Ease has mastered over the years are featured in this magnificent rig. Among them are several types of fume lines, fumicellos, and both a Hollow Fume Honeycomb and a Honeycomb Implosion!
There is even a gnarly Fume Linework Cab on the back and a 2017 Signature Implosion Milli on the front.
