Alex has been developing the basis of his techniques for glass art since 2000.
Over the years, Alex has studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Corning Museum, the Penland School of Crafts, and the Pittsburgh Center of Glass. In addition to formal instruction at these schools, Alex has traveled across the country to learn from various experienced artists through collaboration. Over the years, Alex has exhibited his work at various local art fairs and festivals.
Alex Ubatuba, also known as 2ba, is a fixture on the Colorado glass scene. Vibrant colors and insanely original techniques are just a few of the fantastic qualities 2ba's glass work exhibits. His work has shown a variety over the years, from pipes to sculptural art.
