Collaboration Rig - Jabba the Hutt

Product number: SW10885
Product information "Collaboration Rig - Jabba the Hutt"
This beautiful Dabbing Rig is named after Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars. How detailed the glass rig fits its role model, we would like to leave to each visitor himself. What is clear to us, however, is that this is a very profound interpretation that focuses on Jabba's innermost soul.
This glass work of art puts the eye as a formative element in the foreground. Four times, the intricately crafted eyeballs appear on the wrinkled skin of Jabba the Hutt. The eyes - a specialty of the great glass artist Salt!
Eyes and teeth by Salt
Two eyes are particularly intricately sculpted, one is photorealistic blue, the other red and blue - with filacello patterns by Brian Jacobson. We especially like how detailed the wrinkles and furrows are on this piece of glass. The deep cut technique was done with all love here. Just look at the mouth in image 2. Deep cut involves using a knife to cut deep furrows into the glass. This allows organic textures to be created on the glass wall.

Borosilicate in color
This dab rig is made of both clear and opaque borosilicate glass. The bulk is colored with the beautiful skin-tone pink, while the solid downstem and cut are worked in green translucent glass.
Downstem: Component of the dabbing rig, which leads from the ground joint into the water chamber.
Grind: Component of the rig into which the banger is inserted. By the way, the grind of this banger is 10 mm and "Female".
Besides the eyes, the teeth are Salt's trademark. For dozens of years, the glass artist from Texas has impressed with his charmingly natural colored teeth ending in the gums. No less impressive next to them are his suction cups that appear to come from a real octopus.
Filacello technique by Brian Jacobson
Also set in teeth is another contribution from Brian Jacobson, who shows a lot of love for the art and craft of glass with a filacello disc. As with the top of the mouthpiece and the right eye, filacello mandalas filled with red and blue paint stretch across the glass.
This rig comes with a protective case.
