Product information "Activated Carbon Filter"
The actiTube filters are the original activated carbon filters made from both cellulose and activated carbon.
They are designed to prevent harmful substances like tar and nicotine from entering your lungs; the actiTube filters form a barrier to which these harmful substances stick.
ActiTube's popular activated carbon filters are available in two sizes: the Slim version offers a diameter of 6.9 mm and the Regular variant 9 mm. In the Slim version, both ends are closed with a ceramic lid. With the thicker Regular ActiTubes, only one end of the filter is closed with a ceramic lid - this is also where the grass must rest. The mouth must then be placed on the other end for pulling.NOTE:
At temperatures below 5 °C, the actiTube filters can become clogged due to the condensation of smoke in the filter. It is recommended to keep the filter warm before smoking or to smoke indoors during the winter season when temperatures are lower.
